Joshua and Butch are great friends. When Butch wants to play, he brings a toy over to Joshua. Joshua grabs the toy out of his mouth and holds it. Then there is the stare-off. Joshua looks at Butch and Butch is waiting for Joshua to throw the toy. After awhile, I take the toy from Joshua and throw it and Butch runs after it and brings it back to Joshua. The game then starts over.
Side note but relevant: Joshua is really into imitating people right now. So if I laugh, he laughs. If I make a kissing noise with my mouth, he tries to...it's all very cute.
So yesterday we were playing in Joshua's room and Butch came in. Joshua was very excited to see him. Joshua then picked up his toy turtle, bath toy so it's pretty small, put it in his mouth and went crawling towards Butch. Yes, he was imitating Butch, very funny.
