One is that Joshua loves his stuffed animals, especially his dog. He picks it up says "Good Doggie" then hugs it. Well, actually he puts it in his lap and smashes his face into the dog. It is so adorable, so much so that I ask him frequently "where is your dog", he looks for it, finds it and does the above. I love it.
My other favorite thing is when Robert gets home from work. Joshua and I will be playing, eating, somewhere we don't see Robert right away. When Joshua hears him, he stops what he is doing and says "Dad?" Yes he does say it so that it sounds like a question. Then Robert walks in and says "Yes Joshua, it's Dad." Joshua smiles and says "Dad", completely content.

I know we've talked about this before but there is that statistic that kid's heartrates go up when Dad comes home - Dads just bring a different sort of energy
I've heard that. I love that he loves his dad.
