Solids

Joshua has been on solid foods for a little while. In general is doing quite well with the new flavors and textures. He is good about moving the food to his front teeth (he already has eight!) and mashing the food so he doesn't choke. The new thing that we have been working on is having Joshua feed himself. I would say 95% of the time I still have to feed him, so we have been practicing a lot. So yesterday, I pulled out the Cheerios and placed them on his highchair table. I pick one up and put it in his mouth, so he knows what we are eating and he knows that he likes the food. He then picks up a Cheerio and holds his arm out toward me. I lean forward and he puts it in my mouth. Ha! He is so observant. I guess I now have to feed myself in front of him instead of feeding him. So cute.
